Scholarship Includes

One-semester Full Scholarship

  • Tuition of 91,000 Baht

Requirements of Eligible Applicants

  • Applicants must be undergraduate students at an accredited university in an ASEAN country except Thailand
  • Applicants must be a citizen of an ASEAN member country
  • All ASEAN students studying in Thailand are ineligible to apply

ASEAN Scholarships

  1. Students from ASEAN nations (except Thai nationals)
  2. Scholarship recipients will receive 50% discount on the credit-type registration fee for the entire duration of your undergraduate studies at an International College for a period of 4 years

Qualification

  1. Not Thai nationality
  2. Be a student at Successful high school or equivalent education from an ASEAN country.
  3. Language scores English (IELTS / TOEFL) and Math (ACT / SAT) are not lower than the required criteria for Fast tract applicants.
  4. During the study at the college must achieve a cumulative grade point average (CUM-GPA) 3.50 or more each semester.
  5. While receiving the scholarship, the student cannot transfer the field of study.

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) was established as an autonomous public university, under the Royal Charter, in 1998, with generous support from the Royal Thai Government. MFU will award partial awards to new international students from Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, and Bhutan. Mae Fah Luang University, situated in the province of Chiang Rai in northern Thailand, is named after Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother. The mother of the current king of Thailand. Prince of Songkla University (PSU) was established in 1967 as the first university in southern Thailand. The original aims of the university were to raise the general education standards and support regional industry and development. Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Hat Yai Songkhla, Thailand hereby offers “The Scholarship Awards for Bachelor Degree – Thailand’s Education Hub for the ASEAN+6 Countries (THE-AC)”. Thai universities Scholarship for the prospective students who are citizens of ASEAN+6 Countries and intend to study in a four-year program. Exchange program for one semester or short term course at Prince of Songkla University International College (PSUIC).

Kasetsart University is a public research university in Bangkok, Thailand. It was Thailand’s first agricultural university and Thailand’s third oldest university. It was established on 2 February 1943 to promote subjects related to agricultural science. Since then, Kasetsart University has expanded its subject areas to cover life sciences, science, engineering, social sciences, and humanities. Kasetsart University’s main campus is in Bangkhen, northern Bangkok, with several other campuses throughout Thailand. It is one of the largest university in Thailand. The Graduate School, Kasetsart University, is to allocate graduate scholarships for international students enrolled in the first semester of academic year to lecturers and international master’s and doctoral degree students, in order to support the publication of students’ theses in international journals, and to help graduate students to acquire research experience.

1. Qualifications of Applicants

International students must be: approved to study in the first semester of academic year; pursuing a thesis-oriented program; must not have received other full scholarships from any other source; and must receive a tutorial fee waiver throughout their scholarship period from their study program.

2. Scholarship Allocations

Selected students are eligible to obtain a tuition fee waiver, together with a monthly allowance at the rate specified below:

2.1 Master’s degree students: 8,000 Baht per month, not in excess of two (2) years.

2.2 Doctoral degree students: 10,000 Baht per month, not in excess of three (3) years.

3. Scholarship Terms and Conditions/ Scholarship Extension

  • Master’s degree students: publication of work must take place according to the graduation criteria stated in Kasetsart University regulations regarding The Academic Regulations of Graduate Studies, Kasetsart University, B.E. 2559 (2016).
  • Doctoral degree students: at least one (1) publication must take place in an international journal which is shown in the ISI (Web of Knowledge) database. Doctoral degree students studying in the field of social sciences: at least one (1) publication must take place in an international journal which is shown in the SCOPUS database. International academic journal that can be used in order to complete the scholarship condition must be a journal listed on journal databases the same year the work is published or accepted to be published. Book series, conference series, or any publications in the form of a collection of papers derived from other academic conferences cannot be used to complete the student’s scholarship condition.
  • Students must submit study and research progress reports with approval from their thesis advisor, in order to extend the scholarship into the following year. If students fail to do so, The Graduate School is permitted to end the scholarship extension, and students cannot re-apply for this scholarship.
  • Students must write in their Acknowledgement Page that their research is supported by The Graduate School, Kasetsart University.

Students who want to apply for the scholarship must complete application forms (downloaded from www.grad.ku.ac.th) and submit them with pertinent documents to the Scholarship Unit, Educational Services Section, 3rd floor, The Graduate School building.
